School Libraries Interest Group Meeting (4/27/19)

Being a school librarian can be tough because you’re normally all alone—fear not! Our School Libraries Interest Group gives you the chance to connect with your fellow school librarians from across Northeast Florida.

Our next meeting will be our popular annual Saturday gathering and will be held on April 27th from 8:30 AM - 3:10 PM at the Orange Park Jr. High School Library in Clay County.

10:00 - 10:50 : STEM2Hub with Kathleen Schofield
11:00 - 11:50 : Follett presentation by Melissa Murphy
12:00 - 1:15 : Lunch (provided by NEFLIN)
1:30 - 2:30 :  Interactive Weeding webinar by Mary Kelly and Holly Hibner          of Awfullibrarybooks.net
2:40 - 3:10 : Mackin Presentation
3:10 :  Closing

Lunch and a light breakfast will be provided, and there is no charge.

Your Facilitator Is:  Shannon Isom, Clay County School District

Shannon Isom is a teacher librarian at Orange Park Junior High in Orange Park, Florida. She has fourteen years of combined experience as a CTE teacher and teacher librarian. Shannon has a Specialist degree in Instructional Technology. She love trying new things and being creative.
