Given recent developments with linked data projects, the LRM, and more, where are we going with linked data? How can we begin to plan for linked data? What resources are available to help us implement linked data?
In this session, we will explore current progress in linked data implementation, discuss planning for linked data, and also explore MARCEdit as a tool to create linked data for subjects and names. We'll also discuss work of the PCC URI Task Group and what that means for both original and copy cataloging. Learn about the power of linked data and transformative impact on our work!
Resources and a quiz for post-class work will be provided.
