Teen Services Interest Group Meeting (2/27/20)
Meeting Information
How do we get teens to read, come to the library, or even do their homework? Join the Teen Services Interest Group so we can all share our ideas, programs, book recommendations, etc., to make this happen together.
For this meeting, we're excited to welcome Mad Cowford Improv, who will introduce fun, highly interactive, and engaging activities and techniques used in improvisational theater to help teen program leaders engage their participants. We'll also spend time discussing ideas, successes,and struggles, so come ready to share.
This will be a day of fun and learning, and we guarantee you'll go home with more tools in your toolbelt for engaging your teen patrons!

Entering my 33rd year of dedicated service in the field of Library Science as of October 1, 2019. Committed to making a difference in my local community through my professional and private life. Jennifer Parker is the Branch Manager of the Green Cove Springs Library, a small urban facility in North Florida. She has been developing and implementing programs for children, teens and adults since 1988. Since the 1990’s, Jennifer has served as an event planner for several educational, non-profit organizations. She has been an active lecturer on art appreciation, a weaving instructor/demonstrator, and a teacher of origami for more than 20 years. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. |
