You want your library co-workers to be as excited as you are about the new hardware and software, the mobile devices and online services, and the more efficient protocols for using computers at the library. But winning them over is going to be more about your workplace relationship with them than the benefits of the new tools you are introducing.

For example, if your job description includes tech support, what’s your track record helping co-workers and library users? Have you shown empathy with their struggles to become competent with the library’s tech tools and services?
