Will the Real You Please Stand Up? Dealing with Imposter Syndrome - Webinar (01/07/21)

This webinar will help you discover why
I’m okay – you’re okay!

Have you ever found yourself thinking, “What if they really knew me?” Or maybe, “I have no idea what I’m doing – why did they pick me??” Or anything else along those lines that indicates you suspect you are not as capable as others seem to think? But you ARE capable! You CAN do it! You DESERVE that promotion, challenge, or opportunity!

You need to recognize the strength and ability that others see in you – and this webinar will help you do that. We’ll look at some of the reasons we feel less than adequate – and we’ll tackle ways of overcoming that feeling.

Sometimes it can be challenging to work in an environment that might be considered “intellectual” – even when we consider ourselves intelligent, well-read, etc. And for those of us surrounded by “higher-degreed” individuals – and those on the path to gaining even more knowledge – that environment can also be daunting.

Virtual Trainer: Linda Bruno

Linda has been developing and conducting training workshops for libraries and other organizations for more than fifteen years. She offers workshops on topics ranging from Leadership Skills to Emotional Intelligence – and lots of areas in between!

Linda received her MBA from the University of Florida and has years of experience in hands-on management positions. She develops her workshops based on solid research and – more importantly – real-life application. Linda is also certified with DDI and Achieve Global.

This is an online class. Access information will be emailed one week ahead.

Cost: NEFLIN classes are free of charge for Florida library staff. Registration is required for all classes and NEFLIN members get priority.
