Could your library’s signage do with a makeover?

This session will look critically at many types of library signs and review positive and negative aspects of library signage. We will also address how to conduct a signage audit and the importance of library branding.

The instructor has conducted more than seventy signage audits of public and academic libraries. Online resources will be provided and there will be opportunities for Q&A and discussion.

Virtual Trainer: Dr. Curtis Rogers

Curtis has been working in the library and information science field for more than 30 years. He has worked in public libraries and the South Carolina State Library. He recently retired from the State Library after 27 years. He has taught at the university level. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Library and Information Science and Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction all from the University of South Carolina.

He is a past President of the South Carolina Library Association and currently serves on the board of the Library Marketing and Communications Conference.
