Lori is a Florida native and mother of two that holds a BA in Human Development and has transitioned from a long career in nursing and vocational teaching to serve the community at the Suwannee River Regional Library . She became a part of the Youth Services team in Live Oak in 2021 and often visits the local preschools presenting the reading outreach program. In house, Lori can be found singing, reading and crafting Wednesday and Thursday mornings in preschool and toddler storytimes and she leads The Magic Treehouse Book Club every Thursday afternoon. She enjoys crafting, hiking, writing poetry and learning something new, every chance she gets.
