Meeting Information
The Technology Interest Group is back!
Join us on Thursday, September 28, at 2:00 pm, to discuss Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Literacy. The primary focus of our conversation will be guided by the ALA course "Exploring AI with Critical Information Literacy." We will cover various topics, including current trends, significant concerns, and future plans for librarians. Furthermore, we can discuss AI citations and AI LibGuides.

Interest Group Facilitator: Lea Cason

Lea Cason began her FSCJ career as an Adjunct Librarian and then moved on to the Library and Learning Commons Manager role. In January 2023, Lea joined FSCJ's Deerwood Center as a faculty librarian. Lea has been interested in technology and worked as a software developer with Computer Associates International before transitioning to the library sciences. She stays current with technology by attending conferences and following recent technological advances. |
