HD Reach is proud to partner with the Huntington’s Disease Society of America - North Carolina Chapter for our Second Annual Statewide Education Day, Hope for Health and Hope for Life in Greensboro on Saturday, April 2, 2016!

Why Should I Attend?

At the Hope for Health, Hope for Life North Carolina HD Education Day, you'll learn more about living a hope filled life with HD from some outstanding speakers - both nationally recogonized and local North Carolina HD experts. Jimmy Pollard, a well known HD caregiver and author of Hurry Up and Wait, will provide lessons learned and practical information for caring for those affected by HD. You'll learn about advances in medical care from medical and research staff at Wake Forest University Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center moderated by Dr. Mary Edmondson.

We’ll also have panel discussions and breakout sessions for everyone in the HD community, from those living with HD, those at-risk for the disease, HD caregivers as well as youth. You won’t want to miss this educational day packed with practical information.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and parking are all FREE! There is NO COST to attend.

The North Carolina Chapter of the HDSA and HD Reach partnered together for Hope for Health and Hope for Life. HDSA is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Huntington's disease- from community services and education to advocacy. HD Reach is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting patients and families affected by HD in North Carolina to access health care and resources necessary to manage Huntington's disease.
