Come hear what teens have to say about challenges that they face, specifically around sexual health and communication with adults.

Enjoy a nice, three-course meal and stay for the conversation. Did you know that by simply sharing a facilitated meal you could make huge strides with your teen/teen Little when it comes to talking about their sexual health? Parents/Guardians and Bigs, learn how to best talk with your teen/teen Little about sexual health, relationships, and other sensitive topics from other teenagers. Facilitated by Teenwise Minnesota and led by Youth Facilitators, you will gain insights on how to talk with your teen/teen Little about the issues that matter to them most. Three Tell It To Me meal presentations will be hosted: January, 2014; February, 2014; and Spring 2014.

For Parents/Guardians and Mentors of teens ages 12-19.

Three-course dinner provided.

Transportation options available for parents/guardians up until two weeks prior to the event.

Child supervision provided for children ages 3 plus and who are potty trained.

“Learned a lot of information to help my daughters and how to approach them.”  ~ Community Parent

“The teens that spoke with us were so mature! Their perspectives were helpful and honest. You can’t have a dialogue about children’s needs/opinions without actually including them.” ~ BBBS Big

“I thought this was a great event and was a lesson for everyone. Wonderful to see all the parents and Bigs involved and willing to listen so that they can improve their relationships with their kids/Littles.” ~ BBBS Youth Facilitator
