Doors Open Minneapolis - BBBS at HWMR 

Be the Change... volunteer with your Little at Doors Open Mpls!

Doors Open Minneapolis is a weekend-long event that allows the public free, behind-the-scenes access to buildings in the City of Minneapolis that are architecturally, culturally, or socially significant. BBBS will be at H. White Men's Room in North Minneapolis both days and invite you to join us as we continue to share the news of our newly purchased building in North Minneapolis.

BBBS has a limited number of 2-hour volunteer greeter shifts available for matches. Volunteers will get a free HWMR "Be the Change" tee shirt, a Doors Open Minneapolis volunteer tee shirt, and a VIP Pass so you can skip to the front of the line at other Doors Open sites throughout the city. 

What will I be doing as a volunteer? You are a greeter - welcoming and registering visitors to the Doors Open site, talking to people about Big Brothers Big Sisters and mentoring, helping people at a selfie station, directing people to North Market and the library, helping with set up and clean up, and more. There will be food and beverages for volunteers, and a DJ both days to keep you energized with music!
