The Tulane School of Social Work is proud to present a series of BACS-related and state board approved CEUs events on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at the School of Social Work.
Friday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"SOAR to Success in Supervision, Ethics and Cultural Diversity", a 6.5-hour workshop for those looking to gain their BACS certificate, will be offered by Laury A. Bourgeois, LCSW-BACS on Friday. The event will be held in Room 103 on the first floor of the Tulane School of Social Work Building on Tulane's Uptown Campus. Participants will earn 6.5 CEUs for attending, and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The early registration fee is $150.

"Social Work Ethics in Changing Times", a 3-hour workshop, will be offered by Laury A. Bourgeois, LCSW-BACS on Saturday morning. The event will be held in Room 103 on the first floor of the Tulane School of Social Work Building on Tulane's Uptown Campus. Participants will earn 3 CEUs for attending, and registration begins at 8:15 a.m. The early registration fee is $100.

"Soar to Success in Clinical Supervision Measuring Supervisee Success", a 3-hour workshop, will be offered by Laury A. Bourgeois, LCSW-BACS on Saturday afternoon. The event will be held in Room 103 on the first floor of the Tulane School of Social Work Building on Tulane's Uptown Campus. Participants will earn 3 CEUs for attending, and registration begins at 1 p.m. The early registration fee is $100.

About the Presenter
Workshop presenter Laury A. Bourgeois, LCSW-BACS, received a BA in Sociology from the University of Missouri in 1976 and her MSW from the Tulane School of Social Work in 1977. Ms. Bourgeois has been invested in quality social work services, management and supervision for more than 35 years. She currently serves as the adjunct faculty at the Tulane School of Social Work, writes grants, provides licensing supervision and sees clients in her private practice in New Orleans. She has successfully worked with numerous at-risk populations and began offering training to social workers in the south of France in 2005.
Registration Fees and Payment
Early registration deadline is Friday, March 21. After March 21, all fees will increase by $50. If you attend both Saturday workshops, the early registration fee will be $165. To attend all three workshops, the early registration fee is $310. Payments can be made via check or money order (payable to Tulane School of Social Work) and should be mailed immediately after completing the online registration form. Your registration is NOT complete until we have received your payment. Please mail your payment to:

Please fill out the registration form, but your final registration is predicated on receiving your payment. Once your payment is received, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration into the program, and you will be guaranteed a spot at the workshop.
CANCELLATION POLICY -- In the event you cannot come to our program, it is important for you to notify us before the program begins, either by email (preferred) at blrl@tulane.edu or via phone at 504-865-5314. We will refund the registration fee if notified before the event begins, after the event begins there are no refunds.
Parking Information
On Friday, parking on Tulane's campus is available via parking permit only. Participants can park on any public streets adjacent to Tulane's campus, or they can purchase a one-day parking permit for five dollars from the Diboll Parking Complex, which allows participants to park on campus.
There is also a free shuttle service located at University Square (200 Broadway), which drops passengers off directly behind the School of Social Work. Please see the uptown campus map for more details about building locations, or click here for more information about the shuttle service.
On Saturday, participants will be able to park anywhere on Tulane's campus EXCEPT spots marked "RESERVED ALL HOURS." Participants are encouraged to park on Law Road, which runs directly behind the School.
