Telehealth Gains Internet Friday (TGIF) - Session 7 

The Tulane School of Social Work Center for Lifelong Learning is virtually hosting Tele-Health Gains - Internet Friday series with the seventh event titled Client Selection for Telemental Health Sessions presented by Parker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS on May 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM CST. 

Course Description:

Client Selection for Telemental Health Sessions

- Considerations for using Telehealth

- Review literature thoroughly

- Mediating evolving thought - producing studies

This training is designed for Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors. This continuing education workshop provides 1 clinical hour. 

A virtual reservation is offered at no cost to you.

1. Please do not share the Zoom Link with anyone who is not registered.  If an individual has not registered through this website but attends the Zoom Meeting, this person will not receive credit for their attendance. 

2. When signing up for this event, you automatically consent to being recorded.

3. Please cancel reservations that cannot be fulfilled.

4. Slides will be provided at the time of the evaluation.

5. Please attempt to enter the zoom room with time for any technical issues to be addressed prior to the meeting. All administrators will be actively attending the event.

6. The Tulane School of Social Work Center for Lifelong Learning administrative team is available for minimal technology assistance, such as unmuting or muting your microphone. 

7. If you choose to call in, use the Zoom "Connect to Audio" option with your Participant ID.

8. If you choose to be on camera, please maintain a professional view of your camera. We kindly request to have limited distractions.

9. Attendance determines the number of credit hours to be awarded. Time will be deducted from the total credit hour when attendance cannot be accounted. Time is counted in 15 minute increments.

10. The quiz/evaluation will be emailed to you the following week.

11. Certificates will be emailed manually after all 10 events have been completed.

Parker Sternbergh

Parker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is trained in Emotionally Focused TherapyEMDRNarrative Systems, DBT and CBT, and Trauma. She is a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (the work of Brené Brown). She served on the Louisiana State Board of Social Workers Examiners from 2011 - 2014. She was Vice Chair of the Board and chaired the continuing education committee as well as served on the technology committee. Mrs. Robinson sat on the New Orleans Transitioning Foster Youth Task Force of the Children and Youth Planning Board from 2014 - 2017.

Mrs. Robinson is the Director of the Porter Cason Institute for the Family(PCI). She is currently supervising over 70 masters students in the process of receiving a specialization in mental health, addiction, and the family. As Director, she designs and completes the work of the PCI in consultation with its national board. The work currently focuses on relational healing and what happens when a client has a supportive family system or none at all. Mrs. Robinson has multiple community projects that focus on youth, the juvenile justice system, foster care, trauma, and addiction.

Parker Robinson is also the Director of the Center for Lifelong Learning(CLL). She teaches clinical work at the masters' level and supervises LMSW social workers.

Mrs. Robinson has private and pro bono practices that focus on family and couples work, children, trauma, substance misuse, and attachment injury. She has extensive training and experience in realtional work with a focus on attachment injury, addiction, grief, shame, trauma, and life transistions.
