CREED Finance Series:
Investor Access Breakfast

Are you a cleantech entrepreneur who wants to meet and learn from investors from venture capital firms?

Registration has opened for the January Investor Access Breakfast. At this breakfast, you will learn from investors and network with other cleantech professionals. You will also have an opportunity to meet privately with the investors to make your business pitch.

The investors at this breakfast will represent venture capital firms that invest in chemicals and nanotech.  (Please see the description of investment interests in the Get More Information section below.)

During this session, you will hear from Pulakesh Mukherjee of BASF Venture Capital America.

So How Does It Work?

The session will begin with a continental breakfast followed by presentations from corporate investment firms.  The presenters will offer insight into how their firms approach investment in renewable energy and cleantech business opportunities.

Once the general session is complete, if your application was chosen, you will have an opportunity to pitch your company to these investors during private, 20-minute meetings.

How Are You Selected To Present?

To apply to present to investors, please submit your business executive summary to Meghan Bader (Investor.Access.Applications@nrel.gov) per the guidelines in the investor access  application packet.

The information you provide will be given to the investors to review. The investors will then select the companies they would like to meet during the one-on-one meetings.

If you are selected to present to an investor(s), you will be notified no later than Thursday, January 3, 2013.

If you are selected, CleanLaunch - a business incubator - is available to meet for an hour to help you prepare for the meetings and investor pitch.  Contact Rob Writz to take advantage of this pro bono support at robert.writz@cleanlaunch.com or 720-274-9787.
