Work Life Balance for Social Service Professionals

This FREE full-day training will focus on work life balance in the work place for front-line staff in the social service sector by an experience educator.

Do you wish you had enough time to accomplish what is important to you?

Lack of training and insight around wellness, particularly in the helping professions, can contribute to stress, dissatisfaction, self-doubt and even burnout, which impacts the entire organization.

This training examines the work-life balance challenges facing many employees and provides the forum to learn from shared experiences.  The intention of this training is to offer practical knowledge, tips and strategies in an energizing and supportive environment.  Participants will have opportunities to explore important aspects of balancing their personal and professional lives and to feel more empowered to shift the imbalance.

Educator Katherine Aubrey, MA, RCC will focus on education and self-awareness to encourage change that will be displayed through greater staff retention and less burnout and better overall efficiency and capacity to serve clients. Some topics to be discussed include the following:

  • Recognize and maintaining professional boundaries
  • Signs of Burnout and Vicarious trauma & what helps?
  • Recognizing workplace culture & practicies that contribute to work-life balance
