SETTING THE TABLE FOR EFFECTIVE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS BY USING ASA BID CONDITIONS
Learn how to write bids and proposals that maximize your negotiation power and ability to obtain contracts that contain your preferred terms. Set the table by including in your bids and proposals terms that proposed contract must contain for the hiring party to receive the benefit of your scope of work and pricing. In other words, “condition” your bid on receiving your preferred terms, and if the hiring party refuses, the hiring party must make other concessions, such as reduction in retention amount or increase in price. In this workshop, you will receive suggested bid condition terms and tips on how to negotiate using them.
