The World Health Organization has identified three "Best Buys" in terms of alcohol policy to reduce death, disease, and related harms: pricing, availability, and marketing. Recover Alaska is leading statewide advocacy efforts in these areas to create a safer, healthier, more equitable built environment. Come to this webinar to better understand the research and evidence behind these policy changes, and to learn what you can do to support positive change.
Tiffany Hall is the Executive Director of Recover Alaska, an organization working to reduce excessive alcohol use and harms across the state, and she serves on the U.S. Alcohol Policy Alliance Board of Directors. She brings experience and education in government affairs, philanthropy, and communications, and over 12 years of recovery from co-occurring alcohol use and anxiety disorders. Tiffany loves to spend time outside, especially with her daughter Margaret, and is grateful to live on the land of the Dena’ina people. Her personal story of recovery can be seen in Recover’s Day 001 series.
