Winstel Controls is pleased to offer our Introduction to Basic Controls Training.  This class is for the novice HVAC technician who is looking to increase his understanding of commercial equipment and controls.  The students will learn the objective of each part of commercial equipment, how it is operated and the critical role controls play in system safety, efficiency and reliability. 

This 3-hour class will include:

• Basic Control Loop (w/o Limits, w/ Limits, Modulating and 2-Position)
• Controls Loop Hot Deck and Cold Deck
• Boiler Control from Discharge Temperature and Outdoor Reset
• Heat Transfer and Coil Size
• Hot Water Reset
• Boilers and Sequences
• HVAC Systems (Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, Filtration, Dual Duct, Unit Ventilator, Fan Coil and Constant & Variable Volume systems)
• Humidifiers

A light dinner, dessert and beverages will be served.  Although there is no charge for this class, registration is required and may be limited at Winstel Controls' discretion.  Class begins at 4:30pm with registration beginning at 4:00pm.
