A Hawaiian Music Workshop

with Kimo Hussey

on Thursday August 24th

null
This is not just a workshop to learn a few Hawaiian songs!  Legendary instructor Kimo Hussey will delve deeper into Hawaiian music, discussing its derivation and musical organization, teaching proper pronunciation of Hawaiian words, and providing useful practice techniques for playing Hawaiian music.  You do not need to play a ukulele to participate.

The workshop will start at 7:00p.m. and run til 10:00p.m. with a short break. Cost for the workshop is $25 plus additional $25 for his Hawaiian songbook, He Mele Aloha (unless you already have a copy of the songbook). Kimo will be using his songbook throughout the workshop.

Please bring you instrument, music stand and the songbook, if you already have it.

If you would like to be picked up at the Summit NJ Train Station please contact me to make arrangements.
