The Folk Project would like to invite you to a house concert featuring the New Jersey based songwriter, Sharon Goldman.
Sharon is a singer-songwriter whose "intense, insightful, vivid" storytelling is a "clinic in how to paint an indelible picture with the simplest images and symbols." she combines heartfelt portraits and memorable lyrics with unforgettable melodies and pure, precise, expressive vocals — taking a folk/pop sensibility to new artistic heights.
Sharon's songs have been spun on indie, college and public radio across the U.S.; and she was honored to be part of the 2011 Falcon Ridge/Grassy Hill Emerging Artists Showcase, 2011 NERFA FolkDJ Showcase and 2012 NERFA Boston Showcase. She has been honored to open for or share the stage with such top songwriters as Sloan Wainwright, Pat Wictor, Joe Crookston and David Massengill. Last year, she was thrilled to appear on WFUV DJ John Platt's "Sunday Breakfast" radio show as well as his "On Your Radar" series at NYC's Rockwood Music Hall.
