A Special Concert

at The Troubadour

Livingston Taylor

with Juliana Parker Edelston
Friday, November 29, 2019, 7:30,
Morristown Unitarian Fellowship

Livingston Taylor’s career as a professional musician has spanned 50  years, encompassingnull performance, songwriting, and teaching.  Described as "equal parts Mark Twain, college professor, and musical  icon, Livingston maintains a performance schedule of more than a  hundred shows a year, delighting audiences with his charm and vast repertoire of his 15 albums and popular classics.
Livingston has written top-40 hits recorded by his brother James Taylor and has appeared with Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, Fleetwood Mac, and Jimmy Buffet. He is equally at home with a range of musical genres - folk, pop, gospel, jazz - and from upbeat storytelling and touching ballads to full orchestra performances. In addition to his performance schedule, Livingston is a professor at Berklee College of Music, passing on the extensive knowledge gained from his long career on the road to the next generation of musicians.
Juliana Parker Edelston is an up and coming perfromer, Folk Project family favorite, and friend and student of Livingston Taylor. On the piano she combines the sounds of pop and rock to connect with strangers and makes hearts move. Her major influences are Sara Bareilles, Billy Joel, Queen, and Taylor Swift. She was drawn to their emphasis on lyrics, emotion, and orchestration. Day after day, she collects snippits of thoughts and racing melodies until she doesn't have room to write them down. When she takes the stage, Juliana has a way of making an audience feel right at home, always smiling and providing opportunities to laugh.

This is a Special Concert at The Acoustic Troubadour. Admission is $35.
