In our never-ending quest to bring you the most fantastic scented experiences, Sniffapalooza has planned a leap-into-Spring event to give you an incredible whiff of fragrance exploration on Sunday, March 4th in NYC!

 

Our good friends at Krigler Perfumery have created something extraordinary for Sniffapalooza members - an elegant Wine Tasting and Master Class at their Haute Perfumery at The Plaza Hotel!

 

Conceived in 1904, Krigler is a historically iconic Russian perfume house of Monte Carlo and New York provenance, born of founder Albert Krigler's desire to create unique luxury fragrances made with the finest ingredients from around the world. Krigler Perfumes rose to fame in the early 1920's as a favorite among celebrities and royals of the era. Later taste-makers and trend-setters, including Audrey Hepburn and John F. Kennedy, flocked to Mr. Krigler's scents inspired by exotic locales such as Monte Carlo, the Italian Riviera, and the Mediterranean.

 

Drawing upon five generations of luxury fragrance, Krigler re-opened its doors at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, the epicenter of elegance since it originally opened there in 1931. And now, in a rare opportunity, we are invited to step inside their sweet-smelling world for a closer, behind-the-scenes look at the history of this venerable company with Ben Krigler, Creative Director and avid perfume & wine enthusiast.

 

We'll commence at 2:00 pm in the gorgeous marble-laden atrium of the shop, with flutes of fine wine and scrumptious French macarons to nibble. Ben will give us a detailed overview of Krigler's range of fragrances and products, many which have become cult-favorites. He will introduce us to their newest fragrance masterpiece, Ultra Chateau Krigler 212, a sleeker and more modern version of the legendary Chateau Krigler 12 scent created 100 years ago, and a signature of Grace Kelly. Notes of Ultra Chateau Krigler 212 are a silken tapestry of Lily of the Valley, Iris, Magnolia, Violet, Rose, Musk, Cassis, Champaca Flowers, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Lilac, Amber, Cedar, African Orchid, and Damascus Plum.

 

Krigler Perfumery is bursting with advanced new products and brilliant additions to their classic and custom fragrances, including moisturizers, body lotions, scrubs, cleansing milks, massage oils, shower gels, and scented candles which burn from 40 to 800 hours... and Ben and the staff cannot wait to share them with Sniffapalooza in this exclusive private premiere!

 

Ben Krigler and the Krigler Perfumery staff will be available throughout the event to chat and answer any questions. The event will last until about 4:00 pm, and we will have plenty of time to sample, play and sniff to our heart's content!

 

As a special token of appreciation, Krigler Perfumery will be offering an extraordinary gift from their cutting-edge new skincare line with any purchase of fragrance or a candle during the event. There will also be a very precious few bottles of Ultra Chateau Krigler 212 available for purchase, and these will be custom-poured, numbered and signed!
