Cancellation Policy
Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attebd without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:
In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via email, and or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be acccepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $150 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE
HIGH PROFILE MURDER CASE SYMPOSIUM
Learn the innermost details, firsthand, from the det5ectives who investigated globally recognized, high profile murder cases, including the mass shootings which took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and Sandy Hook. These detectives will provide the inticate dynamics, specific to their cases, which made them domestic and international headlines for years to come. This symposium will also showcase the investigations of the Miami serial killer known as the "Tamiami Trail Strangler" the social media murderer dubbed the "Facebook Killer", as well as the integral role genealogy and DNA played in the 30-year cold case surrounding the murder of April Tinsley. Other highly prominent cases will also be presented during this 4-day symposium, which deeply resonated through their communities and shocked the world!
The cost for the course is $700

Please be advised that there is also an additional 14% tax rate and a $15.00 per room per day resort fee. *Please note that the resort fee includes a variety of resort activities & amenities. There are a limited amount of rooms reserved at the special negotiated rate. Early room reservation is highly recommended.
In addition, daily parking is not free. Daily parking for students attending the class that are not staying at The Confidante is $15.00.
