CANCELLATION POLICY
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:
In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail, and/or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $150 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.
NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE
Open Source & Social Media Investigations For Law Enforcement
This 5-day, hands-on course, offers a comprehensive program to internet investigations and open-source intelligence gathering. This course was designed exclusively for those working within the law enforcement community. Although this is an advanced level course, it will be presented from a law enforcement point-of-view and therefore benefit experienced (but non-technical) members of the law enforcement community wishing to attend. Students with any level of familiarity with the internet and computers, from beginning to advanced, will find this course beneficial. Students will receive all course materials on a flash drive.
Students need to bring their laptops to use in class.
