Inaugural Science of Learning Symposium

and 

3rd Annual Symposium on Excellence in Teaching and Learning in the Sciences 

January 13 -14, 2014

Johns Hopkins University’s Science of Learning Institute

Gateway Sciences Initiative

Distinguished scientists and practitioners will highlight cutting edge research on human learning (including approaches from neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, computer science, engineering, and education) and pioneering pedagogical innovations.

 

Registration: This event is free and open to the public. Please click on the link at the bottom of this page to register. Space is limited, so please register early!

Program: The full program is available for download.  Please review the program details and select the portions of the symposium that you plan to attend using the registration link.

Location: The symposium will be held in Hodson Hall on Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus (#29 on the campus map).

Driving Directions: Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus is located in north Baltimore near Charles Village (driving directions).  If you plan to use a web-based map or GPS to navigate to the symposia, please use the following address:

Parking: Parking validation will be available for the South Parking Garage (under the Visitor Center) and the San Martin Garage on Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus.
