The Old US41 corridor in Bonita Springs is undergoing a major face lift. The Bonita Springs Historical Society’s 1915 McSwain Home, sitting admist of these exciting changes, is an important part of this exciting downtown revitalization.

Light The Way is the kickoff event to our 2017 Festival of Trees. Together these two special events will garner the way for the Historical Society to raise the funds needed to complete the McSwain Home renovations. Much has already been accomplished, but much remains to be done.

It is our kickoff event and our invitation to become a sponsor of 2017 Festival of Trees to benefit the McSwain Home. This special Light the Way evening will take you on a journey via trolley through historic Bonita highlighting some of the places that make Bonita wonderfully unique -the Liles Hotel and Riverside Park, the riverfront, the McSwain Home the Shangri-La, the Casner Home, the Riverside Park area and the Everglades Wonder Gardens. A special trolley stopover is planed for the Shangri La.

There will be a full cocktail reception offering a variety of live entertainment –in addition to a special feature to highlight the historic connection of Bonita Springs to its rivers and streams. We will take time to introduce you to our goals and sponsorship opportunities to benefit the McSwain Home. The evening will be filled with wonderment!

We hope this evening will provide you with an understanding as to our excitement and enthusiasm about what’s happening in historic Bonita Springs and how we might offer your company a special opportunity to join our efforts in supporting The Festival of Trees and the McSwain Home. There is no better time than now to tell the Bonita Springs community that you care about Historic Bonita Springs, its history and historic preservation.

The Bonita Springs Historical Society thanks you for your consideration!
