Equipment & Facilities Improvement grants provide arts organizations with up to $10,000 for the purchase of equipment items and facilities improvements that will strengthen the organization's capacity to serve the arts needs of the SMAC region. No cash match required this year. Next application deadline: September 14, 2022 by 4:30 pm with earliest project start date of November 1, 2022. Deadline to request SMAC staff to review the application before submission is August 31, 2022.

Provides up
fto $500 to allow young artists in grades 5-12 to attend
an enrichment camp or specialty study. Costs for standard weekly lessons are allowed for students who qualify for the federal free or reduced lunch program. Arts supplies costs are allowed for students attending a MN public arts high school. No match requirements.
