The 70th Maine Transportation Conference

Unexpected Detours: Smooth sailing through rocky waters

December 1 - 3, 2020

This has been a challenging year in the transportation field. Mainers and the transportation community have persevered through the pandemic, and this year’s conference will be a virtual celebration of that indomitable spirit.

For our 70th Anniversary, we will offer 3 days of virtual technical and policy track discussions.  Leaders in the field will discuss the present and future challenges to transportation in Maine, the nation and world. We also will hold the popular Student Paper Competition, the Max Wilder Bridge Breaking Competition and, for the first time, the Happy Hour Trivia Contest.

Companies registering early (by November 5) will receive one commemorative tote bag filled with sponsor swag. Remaining bags will be distributed proportionally to companies sending multiple people. At least three pickup locations (in Portland, Augusta and Bangor) have been identified. More details including pick-up dates and exact locations to follow.

Maine Transportation Conference Sponsorships & Exhibits

Got Swag? Sponsors and exhibitors are invited to include their branded material in limited edition conference swag to be distributed to early registrants. Please let us know if you will be providing “swag.”  Branded items (250 of them) must be received by 11/13/2020 at Maine Better Transportation Assoc., 146 State St., Augusta, ME 04330.
