Voting Fraud, Voting Suppression: Myths and Realities

The cry is heard across both Connecticut and the USA: Voting fraud is rampant! In response, states adopt measures that suppress voter participation just at a time when municipalities and states are rarely seeing even 50% voter turnout.

What’s going on? Is voting fraud wide-spread and rising? What is voting fraud? Do we need more severe voting restrictions? When does voter protection become voter suppression? How do we protect the franchise without restricting access?  Will increasing voter access lead to greater threats to election integrity? Is this a partisan issue? What is the end result for our democracy?

Come hear and speak with specialists in the field—academia, government, and non-government. Find out what is myth and what is reality,
