Special thanks to the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration for their generous support of this event.

Please join us for our 10th Annual Summit!

Who Should Attend? Parents (of children, youth, and/or young adults with mental health needs), youth and/or young adults who have lived experience with mental health needs, family members, individuals living with mental illness, professionals (including mental health providers), public policy decision makers, community leaders and all others interested in children and youth mental health needs.

Format of the Summit:

This will be our first in person event since 2019!  While we are thrilled to be able to offer the Summit in peron, we understand that some might not be comfortable traveling or attending in person event.

FOR YOUTH: Throughout the day, there will be a dedicated space for youth to connect and attend workshops. Youth are also encouraged to attend any workshops listed on the agenda that are open to all attendees.

All Youth will need to register separately.

Conference Agenda:

Click here for a look at our agenda.  Follow us on our Summit webpage for up-to-date information.

Hotel Accomodations:

As a one day event, hotel rooms are not a requirement for attendance.  However, if you would like to stay over, reservations can be made by either calling the Marriott Reservation line at 1-800-228-9290 or online through this link. If calling, make sure to state you are attending the NAMI Virginia event.

Covid-19 Safety:

NAMI Virginia will be following hotel policy as well as updated CDC and state guidance in regards to COVID safety protocols at the time of the event. A FAQ with more details will be emailed to participants two weeks before the event is to be held. Although safety protocols will be in place during the event, NAMI Virginia cannot guarantee that you will not get exposed to the virus. By attending the Summit, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Please follow the event webpage for up-to-date information.
