As more and more turnover happens in the development field and throughout nonprofits, how do you build new teams, keep existing teams moving, and face transitions with resilience? Brook has held various leadership roles, which included managing former peers, building new teams, and helping existing teams achieve growth and success.

Presenter Bio: Brook Wingate

Currently Development Director at Center for Creative Leadership, Brook has more than twenty years of nonprofit leadership experience, including work in independent schools, regional professional theater, United Way, and a statewide child welfare agency. She has built both systems and teams and led several organizational culture-change efforts, creating increased impact both for organizations and the communities they serve. At CCL, Brook is a member of CCL’s Societal Advancement Leadership Team. Societal Advancement serves CCL’s nonprofit, K12 education, higher education, and population health clients and funders.
