Learn about Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) in Part 1 of our 2-Part series!

Objectives:

1) Increase understanding of the three core principles of TBRI.

2) Explore the power of connection and empowerment through a trauma-informed lens.

3) Identify strategies to connect with and empower youth.

Presented By:

Krista Yoder, BSN, RN, is the Coordinator for the Family Support Specialist team with The SOURCE. Krista is a mom to 3 little boys and comes with lived experience as a foster parent to vulnerable children in our community. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked closely with children and families in the Pediatric Intensive Care setting. She is also a certified TBRI Practitioner.

Kaylene Ediger, ME, is a Family Support Specialist on The SOURCE team. Kaylene comes with lived experience as a mother to an adult son with Autism, as well as a son who battled mental illness and chose to end his life through suicide. Kaylene walks alongside families in our communities by providing formal and informal support to address the emotional and behavioral health needs of children in their family. Kaylene has also received specialized TBRI training.
