2014 Insurance Conference
on Financial Reporting
A seminar for insurer CFOs, controllers, treasurers, and others who deal
with insurer financial matters.
Key topics to include a legislative update for insurance companies doing business in the Southeast, state of the insurance and capital market, reinsurance market update, cat modeling, statutory and GAAP update, tax update, and the future of technology.
The conference will feature presentations from academia, accountants, actuaries, and regulators as well as Q&A sessions. Keynote address on Economic Forecasting featuring Dr. Steven N. Weisbart, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist, Insurance Information Institute.
Attendees will receive up to 15 hours of CPE credit. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for both days. An optional post-conference session is being offered to participants that are interested in the accounting and reporting disclosures related to significant reporting issues and changes.
