Creating and using your compelling elevator speech

 (A Crain's Business Chicago Small Business Week Event)  

Your elevator speech is a summary of your business proposition.  You use it every day in your networking and selling process.  Think about the prospects who desire to learn more and the customers who want to be reassured that they have made the right choice.  

This short workshop will address the process of creating an elevator speech.  It will ask you to think about what problem your business solves, how you solve it, and what makes your company different.

Also, the workshop will discuss integrating your video elevator speech into your current marketing and selling efforts.  The workshop will review various social media and internet outlets and suggest ways to use your elevator pitch material in these venues.   Experience using your elevator pitch to help create opportunities for your business.  

 Presenter: Mark Goodman is the President & CEO of e-Conversation Solutions. He is also past workshop chair at SCORE Chicago.  Prior to founding e-Conversation, Mark held numerous positions as a technology executive, including Director of Business Development at Motorola, where he was the first business manager in the cell phone group. In addition to Motorola, Mark was an executive for a Silicon Valley company and a film buyer for General Cinema Theatres.  Mark holds an MBA from Boston University and an MA in radio/TV/film from Northwestern University.
