Round Table: Small Business Big Opportunities
Do you have a good idea, but don't know if it's a good business opportunity?
This workshop is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs begin the process of successful business ownership by identifying and evaluating business opportunities. You will work to generate and develop ideas, then learn how to evaluate your ideas to determine if they are potentially viable business opportunities.
Learning objectives
1- Understand the process of moving from idea to an opportunity.
2- Identify where opportunities occur and evaluate from different perspectives (customer, market,business).
3- Gain an awareness how opportunities are driven by research
4- Validate opportunities by understanding the need and value concepts
Presenter: Rhonda Henderson Founding Partner of Lucbene Consulting – a boutique firm specializing in small business training/development and ‘back office’ servicing for organizations seeking sustainability and growth. Along with the consulting firm, she also owns/partners in other area small businesses.
