QuickBooks Basic

This workshop provides basic training in the use of QuickBooks Online accounting software. Through a demonstration and hands-on format, you’ll get an overview of how to effectively use QuickBooks from the perspective of a small business owner. We will cover the following subjects as they apply to your company:

  1. -       Company setup
  2. -      Chart of accounts
  3. -       Products & Services setup
  4. -       Generate invoices
  5. -       Receive payments
  6. -       Make deposits
  7. -       Pay bills
  8. -       Write checks
  9. -       Generate accounting reports and financial statements

This is an interactive session, and participants are encouraged to bring a fully-charged laptop and download QuickBooks Online Essentials version via a free 30-day trial from https://quickbooks.intuit.com to get hands-on experience during class. To download QuickBooks Online go to the above website and click on the Essentials “Free 30-Day Trial”. On the next screen enter your email address and a password that you create. No credit card is required for the Free 30-Day Trial. Participants are also encouraged to bring their company’s Income Statement and Balance Sheet, if available, to help customize their Chart of Accounts.

You will no be alowed in the workshop if you late more than 5 minutes.  The class can NOT BE INTERUPTED by late arrivals.
