Starting a new business can be overwhelming. Where do I start? Is my business able to conduct its affairs legally in Washington? Do I have the right insurance? What funding is available to launch my business? If you’re asking yourself any of these questions, you need to attend this workshop for start-up businesses in Washington!

Seasoned local professionals will share with you the fundamentals of planning for success. The course covers financing, recordkeeping, accounting & taxes, legal considerations, business insurance, and more. This course is offered via Zoom and will include two breaks.

Bekki has many years of experience in personal and business tax preparation as well as small business bookkeeping. She graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2003 with her Bachelor’s in Accounting. She is well versed in tax law and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Bekki is also active as a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Emily Rose Mowrey, Limitless Law PLLC

Emily was raised in Bellingham and has worked there for her entire career. She launched Limitless Law PLLC in 2014. She has also been an adjunct professor of business law since 2016, serving on the Board of the Washington State Law Clerk Program and proudly sponsoring several local community events.
