Attendees will be treated to a sneak preview of some of the dynamic films featured in the 2017 Basilica Screenings Series, as well as Hallucinations: Cinematic projections and singing saw serenades by Ryder Cooley.
Interdisciplinary artist-musician Ryder Cooley will present a selection of cinematic video projections featuring a site-specific aerial performance shot at the Basilica in 2012. Ryder has performed music and aerials at the Basilica as a solo performance artist and with members of her band, Dust Bowl Faeries. For this event she will bring along one of her favorite instruments, the singing saw, for a festive side-show serenade.
