Washington County Farm Tour

 

Join ACE for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of five of Washington County’s most beautiful Farm and Craft locations. Hop on a chartered, air-conditioned bus for a fully curated tour not available to the public until now. Only 36 tickets are available so RESERVE TODAY

Arrive at your leisure to Round House Bakery and the historic Farmer’s Market

Noon: Bus departs Hubbard Hall (see full schedule below)

6:00 p.m.: Bus returns to Hubbard Hall

Starting Location: Hubbard Hall, 25 E Main Street, Cambridge, NY

Cost: $55 per person - Includes bus transportation from Hubbard Hall to all tour stops, admission/tour tickets, cider tasting, and custom tote bag for all the goodies you pick up along the way!

Tour is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given for inclement weather. Full refunds for cancellations available until July 8, 2018. Cancellations must be received in writing to maureen@upstateace.org by July 8, 2018. All reservations are non-refundable after that date.

Full Schedule:

 Arrive anytime before noon to enjoy lunch at Round House Bakery, shop at the historic Farmer’s Market, and explore the grounds at your leisure. 

Noon: Bus departs Hubbard Hall

TOUR STOPS: 

  • Bunker Hill Organic Creamery - Cossayuna, NY: Get a private tour of Washington County’s newest organic dairy farm and learn about their robotic milking and bottling operation. Shop for farm-raised beef and pork products.
  • Gardenworks - Salem, NY: Where agriculture meets the arts! Enjoy a tour of the blueberry fields and browse the art collection. There will be time to shop.
  • Lavenlair Farm - Whitehall, NY: The private tour continues with an educational walk through the beautiful lavender fields and a visit to the on-site bee hives.
  • Hicks Orchards and Slyboro Ciderhouse - Granville, NY: Take a behind-the-scenes look at how cider is made and join in a tasting for our over-21 patrons.

6:00 p.m.: Bus returns to Hubbard Hall, where you'll meet Artistic Director David Snider, and then walk next door to Argyle Brewing Company, where you'll share a beer with WAMC's Joe Donahue!
