ACE/ASA "Fall On The Farm" Open House
Join ACE and ASA for "Fall On The Farm, an afternoon of enjoying Washington Countys beauty and bounty. Celebrate the crisp weather with some crisp, delicious apple cider, meet and greet, cheese tasting, and pumpkin carving!
Bring the whole family for a fun afternoon that includes:
-A meet-and-greet with Dan & Erin Richards, owners of Bunker Hill Creamery. They will take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of their farm where you will get to see their robotic milking machines. (These are seriously cool.) You will also get a taste of their NEW maple milk. Did someone say yum?
-Cheese tasting with Dave & Marge Randles, owners of Argyle Cheese Farmer. Learn about the cheese-making process while you sample their incredible products. Don’t worry, cheese will be available for purchase, so you can continue the sampling from home.
-Pumpkin carving - Reserve your Richview Farms pumpkin and have fun carving your Halloween jack-o-lantern on the farm. Pumpkins are $5 a piece.
-A collaborative conversation about the resources needed to bring these beautiful products from the farm to your table.
Wash down all the fun with a delicious slice of apple pie and a cup of apple cider - available for purchase - made with locally grown apples, while you take in the beautiful vistas surrounding the farm. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday Funday!
