DIY Career Paths in the Creative Economy

Career "paths" in the Creative Economy are often considered the “road(s) less traveled” and completely defy traditional job descriptions. Alliance for the Creative Economy (ACE) and Overit are hosting a symposium where industry thought leaders, who have navigated these lesser traveled roads, will share their stories, struggles, and successes. These entrepreneurs have created unorthodox careers built on a unique set of skills, an unusual amount of passion, and the ability to bravely embark on niche careers that occur in today's rapidly changing landscapes. Their efforts have helped to make the Creative Economy the 4th largest employment area within the Capital Region.

The discussion will be moderated by Gregor Wynnyczuk, Principal and Consultant at Rock Paper Partners. Stay tuned for details on where to find the Live Stream of the event as well.
