The CAPregion Road Trips are a celebration and exploration of the amazing array of cities and towns in our eight counties. Meet artists, performers, business people, politicians and others who are working together to build amazing creative spaces in our region.
On November 16, our next #CAPregion Road Trip will be to Catskill, a village of 4,000 that's experiencing an amazing economic resurgence based on creative people and businesses.
Enjoy an array of local food and drink (including Avalon Lounge's amazing Korean food), performances, fashion, music, and more. We will have an amazing array of vendors, including:
- FisheyeBrooklyn Ceramics, organically-inspired home goods handmade in Catskill
- Nervous System, a company that draws inspiration from and writes computer programs based on natural phenomena, then uses those programs to create unique and affordable art, jewelry, and housewares
- Karen LeBlanc, an artist and musician with a workshop/retail space called Miss Karret where she creates hand-printed, one-of-a-kind organic hemp & cotton garments and art
- Subversive Malting and Brewing, a Catskill based malt house, brewery and beer cafe using all local ingredients.
