The aim of the Community Summit is to bridge the fields of research and practice by providing networking opportunities and engaging stakeholders in dialogue around the state of health and well-being in our community. Results of the day will also inform Heart of Missouri United Way investments.

The day will begin with speakers and panelists sharing data on health outcomes and discussion of the Live Well Boone County Community Health Improvement Planning process. We will learn about current strategies to address basic needs and improve health outcomes.

After lunch, you will be asked to contribute your expertise and help identify ways Heart of Missouri United Way can leverage its resources to advance community goals and improve health outcomes.

Heart of Missouri United Way 2020 Health and Basic Needs Impact Grant targets will be informed by the outcomes of the Summit.
