Camp Cole - Lake Sterling - Tahoe National Forest
Camp Cole is located in the beautiful High Sierra amid alpine forests and lakes at 6,700 feet. It's about 2½ hours east of Sacramento and about 25 miles west of Truckee, California. Click the map for directions.
Enjoy the high Sierra. White Stag Sierra Summer Camp is a outgoing week of games, leadership skills-building, high-adventure teamwork, canoeing, campfires, camping, and hiking. All of this translates into challenging fun.
For ages 10½ to 17. All youth who have completed the 5th grade through age 17 can attend.
Learn leadership. We help you develop 11 essential leadership skills that you can use to be more effective in your school, at home, and in your community.
Dates. Camp is from July 9 -15 at Camp Robert Cole in the spacious Tahoe National Forest, next to Lake Sterling.
Low fees! White Stag Sierra is a federal non-profit entirely run by volunteers. Our fees are extremely low. Your camp fee includes food for the entire week, camp fees, and we even throw in the beautiful high-Sierra scenery for free!
