Keynote Speaker Info:

Carl Goodman is Executive Director of Museum of the Moving Image. He has worked at the Museum for more than 20 years, having joined in 1989 as an educator. Carl has organized many exhibitions for the Museum, including Computer Space, a history of video games; DigitalMedia, a gallery of software-based art; and Real Virtuality, the inaugural exhibition in the expanded and renovated building, which is currently on view. He also guided the production of the Museum’s highly popular interactive experiences in its core exhibition Behind the Screen. His early years at the Museum overlapped with a lengthy period when he was active in New York as a composer of music for film, theater and dance.
