Every year, dental practices are required to review OSHA & CDC standards to promote a safe environment for dental professionals and patients. This course will provide the necessary training in a fun, audience-interactive format dental professionals will love!
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the roles of OSHA and the CDC
2. Understand and discuss key requirements of the CDC guidelines for dental settings
3. Understand clinician accountability to the infection control guidelines
4. Avoid common mistakes
About our speaker
Kathleen Brown is the owner and lead instructor at Bayou CPR Training (and is the Executive Director of Northlake Dental Association). With a background that includes 25+ years in the dental profession, her goal is to provide an educational experience that is meaningful, impactful and entertaining. As an instructor for the American Heart Association, Red Cross and the American Health & Safety Institute, Kathleen travels throughout Louisiana and Mississippi providing safety training courses for healthcare professionals, industrial workplaces, and more. In 2017 Bayou CPR Training became an endorsed provider for Louisiana Dental Services, featuring individual and team training courses tailored to the dental practice setting.
This course will provide the 2-hours of annual training required for all healthcare workers to promote safety for clinicians as well as the patients they serve.
