The WEDA Eastern Chapter is pleased to announce that this year's annual meeting will take place on October 10-12 in Providence, Rhode Island.  All meetings will be held at the Renaissance Providence Hotel conveniently located downtown, across from the State House and just steps from the riverwalk. 

Presentations will run from approximately 1:30pm-5:00pm on Tuesday and all day on Wednesday. This year's icebreaker reception will be held Tuesday evening at the historic Hope Club near Brown University, and group transportation will be provided.  Jacket encouraged / tie optional. A special thank you to Cashman Dredging for sponsoring this very special event!  There will also be an Eastern Chapter Social with a Spotlight on Young WEDA Members at Public Kitchen Lounge (in the Renaissance Hotel) on Wednesday from 5-6pm. Finally, on Thursday attendees are welcome to an ICHDMG Meeting that will run from approximately 8:30am-12:15pm. This year USACE dredge schedule presentations and spreadsheets will be emailed to everyone in advance of the meeting and district reps will be available during the lunch / breakout session on Wednesday to discuss their projects one-on-one and answer any questions.

WEDA's group block at the Renaissance covers Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights with the government per diem rate of $147/night for government attendees and $209/night for non-government attendees. Room rates will be available 3 days pre and 3 days post for your convenience, based on availability. The deadline for reservations is September 20.  The hotel added a few more rooms to the block. Please call Marriott Reservations at (866) 630-0704 and ask for the Western Dredging Association Eastern Chapter rate (if non-gov) or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers North Atlantic Division rate (if gov). Individual reservations cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival will be charged one night's room and tax charges.

The registration fee structure is as follows: $250 WEDA Member, $350 Non-WEDA Member, $150 Government Attendee, and free for students.
