Please join us for the release of the Colorado Self-Sufficiency Standard for Colorado 2015. The standard calculates how much income a family must earn to meet basic needs without public or private assistance based on family composition in each of Colorado's 64 counties. Come learn how to interpret and use this valuable tool over a light lunch.
The standard is often referenced by managers of workforce training programs, policymakers, legislators and the media to gauge economic well-being and the effectiveness of policies and programs intended to forge pathways from poverty.
A presentation on the data will be given by Dr. Diane Pearce of the Center for Women’s Welfare at the University of Washington and author of the proceeding Self-Sufficiency Standard reports compiled for Colorado. CCLP staff will also provide an analysis of the data.
Space is limited for this event, so RSVP soon.
