The Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation in collaboration with Hollister Presbyterian Cooperative Preschool proudly invite you to Nature Explore workshops devoted to reconnecting children with nature.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Saturday, April 1, 2017 

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Importance of Visual-Spatial Learning

Explore tools for providing more authentic learning opportunities for children in both built and natural environments. Gain a deeper understanding of why visual-spatial learning is important for all children

Lunch Break- there will be a lunch option available for an additional $5. Information will be sent regarding this option at a later date. You may bring your own lunch, as well. 

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Arts and Nature

Discover engaging art experiences inspired by nature that help children make deeper connections with the world around them. Experience the Look-Move-Build-Sketch planning tool that encourages multifaceted arts exploration.
