Nature Explore Workshops Coming to Livermore, California

Dimensions Educational Research Foundation, in collaboration with LLESA Children's Center, proudly invites you to a Nature Explore workshop devoted to reconnecting children with nature.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

We have two workshop offerings running simultaneously.  One workshop is geared towards Infant/Toddler educators and the other is geared towards Preschool educators.

 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Developing Observation Skills (Preschool)

Discover new methods to observe, record and assess children’s learning with nature. Explore ways to effectively “listen” to children’s visual-spatial language, support behavioral challenges and document work in outdoor classrooms.

1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Wonder-Filled Beginnings (Infant/Toddler)

Gain engaging strategies for documenting infant and toddler learning, and tips on choosing natural materials that meet the unique needs of infants and toddlers.

*Attending one workshop meets one of the requirements needed for Nature Explore Classroom certification.

We understand things happen and schedules change. If you need to cancel a workshop you are registered to attend please contact Nature Explore immediately via phone or email. A 50% refund will be received on all cancellations received up to 7 days prior to the workshop. If cancellation is made within 7 days of the workshop, no refund will be received.
